Smorgasbord dinner

I had a dinner at buffe-style restaurant offering as much as one can eat for a fixed price.    we call this style meal "Viking" in Japan.  The cognomen is named for the smorgasbord began at the Imperial Hotel, Ltd. in Japan. It is said Kirk Douglas movie "VIKING"   was screened back then and it had a table scene filled with banquet.  And it impressed chef of Imperial Hotel, I heard.

I ate enough to get a stomachache.

Interesting post. We have buffets here and they are very popular. Interesting that some of the Chinese buffets also offer pizza, which is Italina. Chica Buffet is a chain and very popular.
